Welcome to our family website.  Enjoy the blog, photos, and news.  Our family consists of me, Chris Beahm, my wife Melissa, and our daughters Lucy and Claire.  Joining us is our beagle named Bailey.  Enjoy reading about our adventures and life lessons.

What are we doing now!?

Well, I (Chris) currently work in Information Technology.  I specialize in system management and .NET development.  I have the unique opportunity to work in a field that I love.  Melissa is a Nurse and works in the PICU.  For those non-medical folks, that means the pediatric intensive care unit.

Where'd you learn that?

We both went to UNC for undergraduate degrees.  I have degrees in:   communications and also history; but I have spent most of my life studying technology.   I (Chris) also have an MBA from NC State.  Although my degrees are split, my loyalties will always lie with the Tarheels.
